FMCG companies open links with small sellers to ensure supply

Many fast-growing FMCG companies are delivering daily essentials to the neighborhood grocery stores that are facing a shortage of essential goods. Marico has launched telephone service and app for the shopkeepers.

The company said it will help the shopkeepers to place an order and when there is a shortage of supplies from distributors, wholesalers, and suppliers during the nationwide lockdown.

Sanjay Mishra, Chief Operating Officer, Marico LTD. Said, “We have launched a tele-servicing and app for the shopkeepers. This will allow retailers to place orders digitally according to their convenience”.
