GA scouts will invest in Indian tech startups

GA scouts a private equity firm that will support Indian consumer technology start-ups during the tough times. General Atlantic is one of the top firms in the world which is investing in technology start-ups.

Sandeep Naik, MD & Head of India and South East Asia told ET, “The Company will evaluate the start-ups and invest in those companies. We will invest $25 million to $500 million in one company”.

GA scouts are well known for backing the educational technology companies like Byju’s, Unacademy. This is a new approach by the company from earlier to rapid growing technology sector.
