FRDI Bill: Despite Arun Jaitley’s Assurance, Online Plea Continue to Grow with Over 1 Lakh Sign-Ups

It seems there is no stopping to the public’s agitation against the controversial FRDI Bill as the online petition that was launched against the same has now received more than 1 lakh sign-ups.
This comes in despite the fact that Arun Jaitley recently assured the public that it’s always the ministry’s aim to protect the deposits of the people.
The online petition, that was launched on December 7 on change.org, says that the FRDI BIll gives the power to the government to use the depositors’ money to save a bank from bankruptcy.
