Google India, MeitY, and DSCI Team up for “Digital Payment Abhiyan”

This Thursday, Nasscom’s Data Security Council of India (DSCI) said that it has joined hands with Google India and the electronics and IT ministry (MeitY) to rollout “Digital Payment Abhiyan” to spread awareness about digital payments across the country.

Ravi Shankar Prasad, who is the current Communications and Electronics & IT Minister and also the one to launch the campaign said that it will promote the benefits of digital payments and also encourage the people to adopt the best safety and security practices.

DSCI has joined hands with many digital payments ecosystem companies like Google Pay, Airtel Payments Bank Ltd., Paytm Payments Bank Limited, etc. to boost the reach of the program.
