Government procuring wristbands to integrate with Aarogya Setu app

The government is procuring thousands of wristbands after launching the Aarogya Setu app that will be integrated into the app. These bands will help healthcare workers in hospitals to keep track of patients and those under self-quarantine.

ET report stated, “The wristbands will keep a track of the patients in quarantine, and if they remove the wrist bands hospitals will be informed. Once the band is integrated with the Aarogya Setu app more features will be available for health officials”.

The price of wrist bands will be approximately ₹2,000 per piece. The development comes during the worldwide spread of the coronavirus.
