Govt offered 1,58,000 e-consultations in the country

Covid-19 is changing the way public communicate in their everyday lives, decreasing physical interaction as an awful lot as possible to comprise the unfold of the virus. Now, the health ministry’s initiative eSanjeevaniOPD, a telemedicine carrier, is slowly gaining floor, with the portal registering 158,000 on line consultations over the past six months.

Union minister for health and own family welfare Harsh Vardhan, who presided over a review assembly on telemedicine offerings with states and Union territories on Sunday, stated considering the fact that remaining November, 23 states have released the services masking 75% of the country’s population, while others are inside the system of rolling it out.

The eSanjeevani platform has enabled styles of e-consultations doctor-to-doctor (eSanjeevani) and patient-to-health practitioner (eSanjeevani OPD).
