Govt Schools in Delhi Using Solar Energy to Reduce Electricity Bills to Zero

The government schools in Delhi are reducing their electricity bills by switching to solar power. One of the schools in the state dropped its energy bill to zero from the previous ₹35,000 per month. State education minister Manish Sisodia said that the same model has been implemented in 21 other schools by the government already. He said that the aim is to have solar panels in 500 government schools in Delhi.
