Gujarat, Goa, and 6 Other States to Soon Roll Out Policy on Electric Vehicles

As Maharashtra, Kerala, and Karnataka have started creating a roadmap for electric vehicles (EVs), 8 other states including Gujarat, Goa, Assam, and Bihar have started working on a policy as well.
Sources said that the states are working to offer incentives to promote the use of EVs. These could be reimbursement of SGST, road tax exemption for a limited period, subsidies on the vehicles, etc.
