Half India Believes Smart Devices are Spying on Them

A survey by Internet-based market research and analytics company YouGov found that half of India’s smart device owners believe that their smart devices are spying on them. It found that 52% of Indians believe that their devices record private information about them even when they are not aware. 

The survey said that 34% of respondents think that in light of the rapid technological advancement, they will be socially isolated. 34% think that human interactions will be replaced by artificial intelligence, and 32% think that we will become excessively dependant on technology.
