HDFC ERGO Rolls Out Cyber Risk Insurance Cover
HDFC ERGO General Insurance has launched a cyber risk insurance policy which covers online frauds from any device. These include phishing attacks, unauthorized online transactions, identity theft, and cyber-bullying. The sum assured can range from ₹50,000 to as high as ₹1 crore. 

CEO and MD of the private sector general insurer Ritesh Kumar said that the policy will protect individuals against the risks of the modern connected life. He said it’s beneficial for those who use net banking, social media, or surf the Internet in general.
