Highest Salaries in India Paid in Bengaluru, Says Study

According to a new study conducted by professional social network portal LinkedIn, the highest salaries in India are paid in Bengaluru, followed by Mumbai and Delhi. It also found that consumer sector, software and IT services, and Hardware & Networking are the highest paying sectors in the country.
The study shows that the average compensation offered in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Hyderabad, and Chennai are ₹11.67 lakhs, ₹9.03 lakhs, ₹8.99 lakhs, ₹8.45 lakhs, and ₹6.30 lakhs respectively. The highest paying sectors are Hardware & Networking, Software and IT Services, and Consumer goods, in which the average salaries are ₹14.72 lakhs, ₹12.05 lakhs, and ₹9.95 lakhs respectively.
