ICICI Bank launches Online platform for exporters and importers
Private lender ICICI Bank on Tuesday launched its online platform ‘Trade merge’ to offer advanced banking and value-added services to exporters and importers across the nation. “The initiative makes cross-border trade hassle-free, speedy, and convenient, as it offers a variety of services in a single spot, which wipes out the requirement for organizations to facilitate with multiple touchpoints,” ICICI Bank said in a statement. 

The rundown of banking administrations includes current, saving record contributions, trade services, digital solutions, foreign exchange solutions payment, collection solutions, and Mastercards, it added. 

The lender likewise referenced that the value-added services incorporate fuse of exchange business, access to worldwide trade database of almost 15 million buyers and sellers across 181 nations, check reports of expected clients through reputed credit bureaus, logistics solutions for shipment booking and last mile tracking, and online insurance service through a single window, and more. 

Vishakha Mulye, Executive Director, ICICI Bank said, “Throughout the long term, India has arisen as a central member in the worldwide product import space with a reliable development history. During April to October 2021, our general products (merchandise and service combined) and imports are estimated to be nearly $780 billion, recording a rapid growth over a similar period last year.”
