ICICI Chief Chanda Kochhar Resigns
Chanda Kochhar, the Chief Executive Officer of private sector ICICI Bank has stepped down from her position with the bank accepting her plea for early retirement. She will be succeeded by Sandeep Bakhshi whose appointment has been set to 5 years till October 3, 2023, for now. 

Kochhar was earlier divested of her powers as the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) began to look into the allegations of her husband being a beneficiary of loans from the bank despite it being a conflict of interest.
