IFSC of 6 SBI Subsidiary Banks to be Invalid, Lender Gives Heads-Up

In light of the merger of SBI’s 6 Subsidiary Banks, India’s largest lender has asked the customers of these banks to apply for new SBI cheque books as soon as possible. They are also advised to get the new Indian Financial System (IFS) codes as the current ones will become invalid after September 30.

State Bank of India recently tweeted that all the customers of the Bhartiya Mahila Bank and its associate banks viz. State Bank of Hyderabad, State Bank of Patiala, State Bank of Travancore, State Bank of Raipur, and State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur need to urgently “upgrade their cheque books”.
