SBI Card to Offer Pre-Approved Cards to Eligible Customers

India’s second largest credit card company SBI Card has decided to offer pre-approved credit cards to the existing customers of the State Bank of India.

SBI Card has entered into a tripartite agreement with CIBIL i.e. India’s first credit rating agency and its parent company i.e. State Bank of India. As per this agreement, CIBIL will evaluate the credit profiles of the existing SBI customers and help SBI Card to use the data for selecting the ones that will get the offer of pre-approved credit cards.

SBI Card, which is one of the biggest credit card companies right next to HDFC Bank, aims at doubling its customers to one crore in the next few years.
