India-Ghana Trade Crosses $1.7 Billion

The India-Ghana trade continues to grow stronger as it recently hit a $1.7 billion mark, Indian High Commissioner Birender Singh Yadav said. He said that Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) has put India on the third position in its list as it has 13 projects with the nation, right after the UK that has 19 projects, and then China with 25 projects. However, in terms of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), India ranks second, right after Netherlands.

Yadav said that India treats all the other countries on an equal basis, and doesn’t believe in “political influencers”.
