India Investing More in Sustainable Energy for the First Time

According to the World Economy Forum, India’s investments in renewable energy sources are outgrowing that in fossil fuels faster than ever. It said that in the past 3 years in a row, India invested more in renewable than fossil fuels.

Even though India meets 74% of the electricity requirements with coal-fired power plants today, the information provided by WEF gives hope that renewable sources of energy will be adopted in more ways across the country.
