India May Become Third Largest Economy in 10 Years: HSBC

Although a large number of individuals, as well as experts, have developed reservations for India’s economic growth in light of the disruptions caused by GST, note-ban etc.  an HSBC report says otherwise.

According to a recent HSBC report, even though India’s GDP has taken a hit, its medium-term growth looks promising. If the trend continues, it’s possible for India to overtake Japan and Germany to become the world’s 3rd largest economy within the next 10 years.

The report projects India’s GDP growth to stand at 6.5% in FY18, 7% in FY19, and 7.6% in FY20.
