India Now World’s Second Largest LPG Consumer: Oil Secretary

This Tuesday, Oil Secretary M M Kutty said that the government’s efforts towards providing clean cooking fuel to every household have made India the world’s 2nd largest LPG consumer. He was addressing the audience at the Asia LPG Summit when he said that India’s LPG demand is estimated to be increasing by 34% by 2025 and that the LPG customers have grown at a compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of 15 percent to 22.4 crores in 2017-18.
