India to Have 920 mn Mobile Users by 2025, Says GSMA

According to GSMA Intelligence report, mobile subscribers in India which stood at 750 million at the end of 2018 are projected to cross 920 million-mark by 2025. Out of these, around 88 million will have 5G connections, it said.
The report said that India will generate one-fourth of the world’s new mobile subscribers until 2025. It also said that 5G devices and services are expected to gain good traction in India based on the consumption pattern of the 4G network.
