Indian Textile Artisans Appointed by Myntra for Private Apparel Segment

Myntra’s private lifestyle brand Taavi has joined hands with 1,300 artisans from 7 states to give a boost to Indian textile craft. The brand itself was launched only recently and it sells apparel for men and women that has traditional embroidery such as Odisha’s sambalpuri ikkat and Kolkata’s Kantha.

Head of Myntra Jabong, Amar Nagaram said that the idea behind launching Taavi was to merge traditional textile and handicraft sectors with contemporary influences.
