India’s Data Center Market to Clock at 1.5 bn USD by 2022, Says Report

India Data Market Size is expected to hit 1.5 billion USD-mark by 2022 at a CAGR of 11.4%, a report by MarketsandMarkets says. It also says that Mumbai is currently the main focus of data center developers in India and makes for 20% of the total market share.
The growth in data center market in India is also pushed by government initiatives. For instance, it launched MeghRaj cloud scheme to facilitate G2C services delivery. Under this, several national and state data centers are being set up across the country.
