India's richest billionaires holds more wealth than the Union Budget

The study ‘Time to Care’ was released before the Annual Meeting of World Economic Forum and the studies show that the world’s 2,153 billionaires have more wealth than the 4.6 billion people who make up 60 percent of the planet’s population.
Another vast difference in the wealth gap shows where India’s richest 1 percent hold more than four times the wealth held by 953 million people who make up to bottom 70% of India’s population.
The number of billionaires has doubled since the last decade even though there was a decline in combined wealth in 2019.
