Instagram to Introduce Pop-Up Warnings to Check Cyber Bullying

This Monday, Instagram announced a slew of new features for the platform that looks to curb online bullying including a pop-up warning for the users that post abusive content. Head of the platform Adam Mosseri said that it’s the company’s responsibility to create a safe environment for the users.

The new feature uses artificial intelligence technology to detect abusive remarks on the platform before they are published and display a warning sign to the users. It gives a chance to the users to reflect on their actions and change their minds about what they want to say, Mosseri said.
