Internet India Foundation moves IT panel on data security in Aarogya Setu app

Internet India Foundation has moved IT panel on data safety in Aarogya Setu app to commence urgent hearing on alleged privacy violations related to the government COVID-19 tracing app.
IIF said in an email to Tharoor, “We have asked the government officials from (NIC) National Informatics Centre to testify before the committee about the architecture and important files regarding the app”.
IIF entreated that the listening to have to especially involve healthcare professionals, academics from IITs and virtual rights and public strategy specialists to provide inputs.
