Japan’s $4.7 Billion Investment in India an 80% Jump

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was announcing new deals that India has signed with Japan when he said that for the financial year 2016-17, Japan’s total investment was $4.7 billion which is about 80% higher than the previous year.
Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said that both countries have signed 15 agreements which support the Japan-India investment road map.

After inaugurating the Bullet train project in Ahmedabad, Modi addressed the critics and said that they used to mock him for his will to bring Bullet train in India when he was Gujrat’s CM and asked when it will come. Now’s it’s finally here, they are asking why, he said.
