Logistics Sector to Get a Boost as it Receives Infra Status

The logistics sector has been given infrastructure status by the government, which means that now it will be able to receive loans on flexible terms, promote manufacturing across the nation and improve the economy.
Compared to the developed countries in the world, logistics costs are quite high in India. So, development of the same in the country will lead to increased local and international demand, which will, in turn, promote job creation, the government said.
