Maharashtra govt launched schemes for start-ups

Chief Minister of Maharashtra launched a scheme to boost the start-ups ecosystem for providing financial support to the innovative start-ups to file for IT patents.

According to the statement, approximately 150 start-ups will be supported in the first phase of the scheme with the financial support of ₹2 lakh to ₹10 lakh for quality testing and certification for start-up ideas.

CM said in a statement, “There are many intelligent youths in the state of Maharashtra and Skills Development department should take up the task of encouraging these diamonds”.

The state of Maharashtra has been ranked second in the India Innovation Index released by NITI AYOG.

Skill Development Minister, Nawab Malik said, “Our task is to make Maharashtra number one in various skill development schemes and start-ups. A number of schemes are introduced and more schemes will be introduced in the future as well. It has been proposed to set up an international standard center for skill development in Mumbai”.
