Major Labor Law Changes Proposed by Govt for Ease of Compliance

In a bid to simplify the labor laws in the country, the ruling NDA government has proposed setting up a system of one license, one registration and one return for the businesses.
According to a major law reform that was proposed in the Parliament this Tuesday, a single registration will be attached to a single license and return for projects up to 5 years.
Labour and Employment Minister Santosh Kumar Gangwar introduced the Code on Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions (OSHW), 2019 in the Lok Sabha this Tuesday.
