Manufacturing companies restart operations amid lockdown

Several Manufacturing companies in many parts of the country restart operations during the third phase of the lockdown. Traders body CAIT claimed that only 20% of its member’s shops in the permitted category can resume the operations.

On the retail front, several shops were reopening after a long time while some had to be closed due to the intervention by the local authorities in their areas.

The development took place after the notification from union home ministry which has allowed companies to restart the operations in the green, orange, and red zones with certain riders.
