Mental Health Crises Projected to Cause $16 Trillion Global Damage by 2030
The mental health of an average individual is declining sharply across the world and its impact is going to be far stronger than one might imagine. As per the Lancet Commission report compiled by 28 reputed specialists in public health, psychiatry, and neuroscience, mental health disorders will cost the global economy as much as $16 trillion by 2030, unless appropriate action is taken.

A Harvard Medical School professor Patel said that mental illnesses have become more prevalent in the past 25 years. Unfortunately, no country is investing in it as much as it should, he said.
