Festive Season Creates Demand for 2 Lakh Employees in Online Retail

A large number of companies generate 40% of their yearly revenue between October and January in India. This is because of the festive season during which the demand is at the peak. Addedly, the hiring activity also increases during this period. According to recruitment companies, this festive season, around 2 lakh new jobs will be created to meet the spiked demand.
Sources said that the top e-commerce portals, especially Flipkart and Amazon have already appointed nearly 85,000 people to process the massive orders during Navratri, Diwali, Christmas, and New Year.
