Mudra Yojana: NPAs Stand at ₹7,277 cr
This Tuesday, the Parliament was informed that as many as 7,277 crores worth of loans that were sanctioned under the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY) have turned into non-performing assets (NPAs). 

Minister of State for Finance Shiv Pratap Shukla in a written reply said that from the inception of the PMMY scheme up to March 2018, loans provided by all member lending institutions (MLIs) stood at ₹5.71 lakh crores. He also said that as per RBI’s notification, the names of suit-filed defaulters of ₹1 crore and above and those of suit-filed wilful defaulters of ₹25 lakh and above are uploaded on the websites of Credit Information Companies (CICs).
