Municipal Bonds Worth ₹350 cr to be Floated by Ghaziabad, Lucknow

In a first, Ghaziabad and Lucknow which are two of the biggest urban regions in Uttar Pradesh are looking to float municipal bonds worth ₹350 crores for funding infra projects. The implementation for the same was approved by a state cabinet meeting recently that was chaired by chief minister Yogi Adityanath himself.

Ghazia Municipal Corporation (GMC) will float bonds worth ₹150 crores and Lucknow Municipal Corporation (LMC) will raise ₹200 crores.
