Nasscom Opposes Government’s Decision to Ban Cryptocurrency

The information technology industry said that the bank would discourage start-ups that are working on the technology and also impose restrictions on new applications and solutions based on the same. It said that instead, the government should create a risk-based framework that may regulate cryptocurrencies in the country.
