Nasscom Says Agri-Tech Startups Received 248 mn USD Worth of Funding in 2019

IT industry body Nasscom said there are over 450 startups in the agri-tech sector and the segment has received over 248 million USD worth of funds during the first half of 2019.
The report “Agritech in India Emerging Trends in 2019” said that Indian startups in the agri-tech domain are increasing at the rate of 25% year-on-year. It also said that every 9th startup in the sector in the world is launched in India.
