Navjot Singh Sidhu Resigns as Punjab Cabinet Minister

Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu who was unhappy with the cabinet reshuffle and deprived of key portfolios has resigned as a Punjab cabinet minister. He tweeted his resignation letter on Sunday in which the date was put June 10 which is four days after his portfolio was changed. The letter was addressed to Congress President Rahul Gandhi.

Since portfolio reshuffling, both Sidhu and his wife Navjot Kaur have been keeping a distance from the media.
