NITI Aayog Reconstituted by PM Modi, Shah Becomes Ex-Officio Member

This Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi Gave a Nod for the Constitution of NITI Aayog. While most of the full-time members of the organization were retained, Bibek Debroy was dropped and Amit Shah was appointed as an ex-officio member.

As per an official statement, Rajiv Kumar will remain the vice-chairman of the think tank body. It also said that three ex-officio members apart from Shah are Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Narendra Singh Tomar.
