Non-Biometric Assistance Could be Provided for Online Aadhaar Services by UIDAI
A government official said that the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) may allow Common Services Centers (CSC) to offer non-biometric assistance to people in filing online forms, Aadhaar enrollment, etc.

To ensure the safety of Aadhaar data of 120 crore account holders, UIDAI had restricted Village-level Entrepreneurs (VLEs) who run CSCs from offering Aadhaar-related services. However, they have been urging the Aadhaar-issuing body to roll back the order since then.
