Non-essentials goods retailers roll out store on wheels

Apparel, jewelry, electronics and cellphone chains, inclusive of Central, Brand Factory, Tanishq, Sangeetha Mobiles, and Great Eastern Retail, are attaining out to housing societies to send trucks packed with their products for customers to shop for right from their doorstep.
These stores, together with Croma, Lifestyle and Vijay Sales, have also started out establishing their high-street shops in states which have allowed retail sales of non-crucial items as part of the slow establishing up after lockdown, and are taking orders via digital excursion of their shops and from there online shops,
Tata Group jeweller Tanishq is piloting try-at-home in Bangalore and plans to roll it out in more cities by the next few months.
