Now Make Insurance Claims on WhatsApp

In a first for an insurance company in India, Bharti AXA Life Insurance has launched a claims-processing system for WhatsApp users which allows them to raise insurance claims on the instant messaging platform conveniently.
Bharti AXA Life Insurance’s MD and CEO Vikas Seth said that an insurer’s prime responsibility is to honor a valid claim during rough times. He said that by offering the claim process on WhatsApp, the company aims to provide comfort to their customers and improve customer-contractibility.
Under the new service, a nominee can send a message to the company on WhatsApp to raise the claim. A representative will respond and ask them to upload the required documents. Upon receiving the same, the company will verify the claim and the documents and credit the claim benefits to the nominee’s bank account.
