Now Post Offices to Offer Payments Bank Service

All the 1.55 lakh post offices and its 3 lakh employees in India are preparing to offer financial services by the end of the next year. This will make India Post, the second largest payments bank in the country.

A. P. Singh, who is the CEO of the India Post Payments Bank (IPPB), said that they plan to have a post bank footprint in every district by March 2018. Plus, by the end of 2018, every postman and Grameen Dak Sevak will be provided with a device that will offer a variety of payment solutions.
