Odisha Eyes BPO Sector to Create 30,000 Jobs
The Odisha government recently unveiled a new BPO policy that aims at attracting investors that can help generate 30,000 jobs in the sector within four years. 

Under the Odisha BPO policy-2019, a capital investment subsidy of ₹1.05 lakhs will be provided for new units that fall within the ambit of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation. The minimum number of seats that are required for this scheme is 300. For other urban areas, the subsidy and seat requirement may vary.  

Existing BPO companies are also eligible for the benefits under the Odisha BPO policy-2019 scheme granted they are approved by the India BPO Promotion Scheme (IBPS).
