OECD Warns Bots May Kill Nearly Half of all Jobs in Two Decades
According to the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), automation and robots are changing the workplace today and that the government must intervene to prevent socioeconomic tensions around the world. Labor Director Stefano Scarpetta said that as many as half of all jobs may cease to exist in the next 20 years due to the rising popularity of automation.

OECD said that with new technologies, new markets will open to benefit select workers. However, gig-economy workers and young, low-skilled workers are highly vulnerable to the changing dynamics of the workplace.
