Offline stores become a challenge for online retailers

Amazon has joined the queue of Flipkart and Reliance retail and it is planning to add Kirana stores to their network. Flipkart is partnering with Kirana stores since last year to scale up.
Amazon has partnered with thousands of Kirana stores in India as delivery points.
In the last few years, start-ups like Udaan, Shopx, and ShopKirana have entered India’s retail business to the business e-commerce market by digitizing small stores.
Kirana store owners are not technology savvy therefore bringing them on board will need a lot of training.
