PM Modi’s Swachch Bharat Abhiyan Receives Praise from Bill Gates

Microsoft co-founder and the world’s second richest man Bill Gates praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s emphasis on sanitation and cleanliness in the country. He was speaking at the Goalkeepers event in New York recently when he commended Indian government’s efforts towards sanitation in light of the high malnutrition rates. He said that the country needs to embrace new technologies to generate zero waste and improve the sewage processing capabilities.
