Qatar Promises 3 bn USD Investment in Pakistan

News Agency QNA said that up to 3 billion USD worth of investments will be made by Qatar in Pakistan. Most of these will be in the form of direct investments and deposits, the news agency said.

The agency said that once the investment has been made the economic partnership between the two nations will reach 9 billion USD. Foreign minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani was quoted for the same.

It’s worth noting that in light of Pakistan’s cash-strapped situation, Prime Minister is seeking aid from international donors and Gulf countries.
