Shocking: Facebook Paying Users up to $20 to Install VPN App to Monitor Their Activities

A new report by TechCrunch sheds light on some shocking details about Facebook which is paying youngsters of the age of 13-35 up to 20 USD per month to install its “Facebook Research” app which allows it to track the user’s online activities. It also says that Facebook is even asking the users to take screenshots of their Amazon orders history pages.
Legality aside, the kind of tactics that Facebook is using to collect information certainly raises big questions on the ethics of the social media giant, industry stakeholders say.
