Software Technology parks to launch funds for start-ups
Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), an Autonomous Society set up by means of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), will want an undertaking capital fund to help startups & entrepreneurs from the tier II and III towns to release new era merchandise.
 
This comes in the backdrop of era merchandise exports expected to increase 7-8 times in the subsequent five years from $10 billion now as estimated in National Policy on Software Products (NPSP).
 
Omkar Rai, Director General, SoftwareTechnology Parks of India (STPI) said that one of the prime consciousness of STPI is to disperse the enterprise to Tier-II and III towns and to develop & nurture the eco-device for helping startups & MSMEs.
 
Meanwhile, regardless of the pandemic STPI has given acclaim for 84,360 certificate, whose export cost is predicted to be around Rs 46,556 crore at some stage in the lockdown. It also took a chain of initiatives to assist IT/ITeS corporations to navigate the contemporary pandemic. In the last couple of months, specifically at some stage in the pandemic STPI has taken various projects along with launching of six centers of excellence (CoEs) in rising technologies and 10-15 greater CoEs are in pipeline.
