Supporting 2.4 Million Jobs in the US: Apple

Smartphone giant Apple said that it’s directly or indirectly supporting as many as 2.4 million jobs in the US which are 20% higher than the estimated 2 million jobs in the year 2017.
Apple Inc. said that its direct workforce grew to 90,000 from 80,000 In the past 2 to 2.5 years as per its estimates. It also said that around 1.9 million jobs are now related to apps against the 325,000 million jobs from the previous estimate. However, details about how the company arrived at these estimates haven’t been shared yet.
